Community guidelines for The Room
This draft describes safety and enforcement for private deliberate sharing in The Room under Room Reduce. Discovery, follows, comments, reactions, and public profiles are unavailable. Final terms will be published after counsel review.
What this space is for
Private deliberate shares of outfits and looks you choose to publish. Room is not a discovery network under the current Reduce mode.
Your body is yours
Your measurements are never part of your profile.
They are not shared when you publish a private look. If you choose to export them, that copy is yours to control.
What is not allowed
- Harassment: targeting someone with insults, pile-ons, sexual harassment, or unwanted contact.
- Body shaming: judging someone's body. Discussing how a garment fits your own body is welcome. Assessing someone else's body is not.
- Eating-disorder and self-harm content: content promoting, glorifying, or instructing disordered eating, extreme restriction, purging, or self-harm.
- Nudity and sexual content outside normal garment context.
- Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context. This is an 18+ service.
- Hate attacks based on protected characteristics.
- Threats and violence.
- Impersonation or misrepresented affiliation.
- Non-consensual imagery.
- Intellectual property infringement.
- Spam, scams, and manipulation.
- Doxxing.
- Generated appearance is not a photograph and not fit evidence. Removing the label or presenting generated imagery as a real photograph of a real person is not allowed.
How we enforce
Depending on severity and history: content removal, a warning, a feature restriction, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Safety-critical content is actioned first. You can appeal enforcement, and we will tell you the outcome.
Reporting
Private shares and generated images support report, block, and mute actions in the product. Reports about safety-critical content are prioritized. Public comments and profiles are not offered under Room Reduce.
The Room in the product
Room is reduced to private deliberate sharing. Discovery, follows, comments, reactions, and public profiles are unavailable.
Signed-in private publishing requires accepting user-content terms in the app. Read the Room surface for current product behavior.
